Uniforms

Students in grades K-12 wear uniforms that vary by gender, grade level and season. There are dress down days throughout the year linked to spirit days.

Organization

Organized by Primary School (Pre K-6), Junior High (7-8) and High School (9-12).

Student Body

Over 900 boys and girls from 22 cities, 3 counties and 14 parishes.

Financial Aid

70% of students receive need-based assistance totaling $750,000 annually.

Christian Service

Students, faculty, staff and parents perform over 15,000 hours of Christian service each year.

Athletics

Approximately 400 students participate in over 25 sports at Bishop McNamara throughout the school year.

Co-Curricular Clubs

Approximately 90 percent of Bishop McNamara students (of eligible age) participate in at least one academic team, student club, fine arts offering, or athletic team.

Guidance

Guidance is provided on two levels:

College: two counselors work with faculty and parents to support the needs of students

Personal/Emotional: a social worker is available to students who are experiencing life changes such as a family loss through death, divorce or separation
