- Today during lunches, all students will be voting on this year's Homecoming Theme. See a student council officer to get your ballot.
- Congratulations to the girls golf team on their first place finish against Nazareth and Fenwick on Thursday. The Irish were lead by Hannah Wiley who medaled with a 39. Meghan Kelly with a 45, Gina Vallone with a 47 and Rylie Hartman shot a 50.
- Congrats to the Irish soccer team as they were victorious in their home opener, notching a 3-1 victory over conference foe Mt. Carmel. It was a great team effort! The Irish look to build on this momentum as they visit Herscher Saturday at 11am.
- Attention all girls interested in playing basketball this winter there will be a mandatory meeting on Sat. Sept. 4 th at 8:30 a.m. Please meet in the football stadium. The meeting will last approximately 45 minutes.
If you are unable to attend please make sure to see Coach Weigt sometime this week.
- ¡Bienvenidos al club de español! (Welcome to the Spanish Club!) We have some fantastic cultural activities planned for this year, including a Latin Music Festival in Chicago, the Day of the Dead exhibit at the Mexican-American Museum of Art, a flamenco show in Chicago, and many more! Sign up for the BMCHS Spanish Club all this week through Señora Ronchetto in room 112. Membership dues for the 2010-2011 school year are $15 and include a club t-shirt. You must be a member to participate in club activities.
- Any sophomore, junior or senior interested in applying to become a class representative, needs to see one of their class officers for an application, ASAP. Completed applications will be due back to class officers no later than Tuesday of next week. (9/7)
- Attention all senior leaders for freshman retreat: There is a mandatory meeting Monday, Sept. 13th at 6:30 p.m. in the campus ministry office.
- If you have ever failed an English, Math or U.S. History (sem.2) class and have NOT made up the credit, there are three night classes at KCC being offered for High School credit this semester beginning on Sept. 21st. See your counselor for further information and/or to check your credit status.
- Interested in Government/Politics? How about an all expenses paid week in Washington,D.C. in the spring AND a $5,000 college scholarship. Information is available in the Guidance Office on the 49th annual U.S. Senate Youth Program – sponsored by the William Randolph Hearst Foundation. See Mr.Raiche for further information.
