Laptop Program

Bishop McNamara Catholic High School is a laptop school. By leading the way in educational technology, we are providing the best possible opportunities for our students to achieve and succeed now and in the future. 

Through our 1:1 laptop/tablet initiative, we are currently preparing students for jobs that don’t yet exist using technologies that haven’t been invented in order to solve problems we don’t even know are problems yet.

Technology has changed every part of our lives. We acquire information, communicate, and learn differently than ever before. Through the use of 1:1 tablet technologies, we are able to provide experiences otherwise impossible. Our students are able to sit in on college classroom lectures, listen to world renown speakers, take tours of art museums, experience other cultures, do research and get immediate answers, solve problems and get instant feedback, and collaborate with teachers and peers. In other words, the students are actively involved in their own learning experience.  Our tablet program provides our students with the advantages that they deserve.
