Tuition, Financial Aid, Books & Uniforms

Tuition for the 2013-14 school year will be $7,490
Tuition discounts are given for families with two or more children simultaneously enrolled.
2nd child - $7,040, 3rd child - $6,440

We use FACTS Tuition Payment Plan.  Families are able to pay their tuition in one of four ways:

Option 1 - Payment in full due July 1.  Eligible for a $100 discount per student.

Option 2 - Semester payments in July & December.  $10 FACTS fee.

Option 3 - Quartlerly payments in July, September, January and April.  $35 FACTS fee.

Option 4 - 10 monthly payments July-April.  $45 FACTS fee.

A non-refundable deposit of $300 must be paid on, or before, Registration in the Spring. This is a reservation fee and will be deducted from your total tuition.

APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AID
This year, Bishop McNamara Catholic High School students recieved over $466,000 in financial aid. Fifty four percent of McNamara students received financial assistance. Financial aid is awarded based on need. An objective third-party evaluator provides privacy and expertise in determining amounts awarded.
FACTS program – Bishop McNamara uses FACTS to complete their financial aid analysis.

* The deadline to apply was March 1, 2013, but anyone wishing to receive aid must still fill out the FACTS application.

Applicants should expect financial aid results in late May.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Presence St. Mary's  Employee Scholarship - Up to $1000 awarded to incoming freshmen and current McNamara Catholic students. At least one parent must be an employee of Presence.
To apply, families must:
-     Fill out application
-     Be sure to include proof of employment (from PSMH Human Resources Dept.)

St. George Catholic Church Scholarship - Sponsored by the St. George Catholic Women’s Group and Holy Name Society, a  $500 scholarship will be awarded to a deserving young woman or young man who will be enrolled as a sophomore, junior or senior at Bishop McNamara Catholic High School in the Fall of 2013 . Individuals must be parishioners of St. George Catholic Church. Applications for these scholarships are available. Those interested should read the Sunday bulletin. Applications need to be returned to the Church Office.

PURCHASING BOOKS
At McNamara Catholic, many books must be purchased by students.  This can be done through MBS Direct or any on-line bookstore. 
When not using MBS, please be sure to have the exact title and edition to ensure you are purchasing the appropriate book.

SELLING BOOKS
Students are always encouraged to sell their books directly to underclassmen.
MBS Direct will be at Bishop McNamara on Friday, May 24 from 9 - 1 for book buyback.
