Bishop McNamara

Christian Service

Our Lord calls us to love God and love our neighbor as ourselves. Christian service opportunities provide students with an opportunity to learn from helping others, particularly those on the margins of society. Frequent Christian Service opportunities include in-school service projects and local community service projects. Some service work can be done as a group and others can be done on one's own.

Student Service Requirements

At the junior high and senior high level, we encourage all Bishop McNamara students, House teams, clubs, athletics teams and classes to participate in service opportunities. The Catholic Ministry Office can provide specific service opportunities for your groups.

Taking time to mentally process through a Christian Service project is a critical component of the service work. Filling out the Report & Reflect Form encourages our students to think about the service work and what it means for them and the ones they are serving.

Senior high students, please fill out the Report and Reflect form below.
