Retreats
Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.” – Matthew 11:28-30
Spiritual Opportunities
Daily life gets busy and it is hard to focus on the graces of God and finding signs of His love. Thankfully, at Bishop McNamara we have a chance every year to make a class retreat. This typically consists in a day spent off-campus for rest, prayer and reflection. The retreats often consist of Mass, small groups, and testimonial talks by other students and staff. The goal is to encounter God and rediscover His love for each one of us. Taking a yearly retreat is an important aspect of integrating the faith learned in the classroom so that it can become a lived faith for the students. Retreats also offer an opportunity for students to connect with fellow classmates and strengthen their friendships.
