The Bishop McNamara Annual Dinner Auction is our biggest fundraiser...and we could use your help!

Volunteer Roles Needed:

Acquisitions and Advertising: 6 - 8 people needed. This begins in February. We need people to assist with contacting individuals and businesses to secure auction items and advertisements. Contact is made to those that have donated items and placed ads in the past, as well as to new potential individuals and businesses.

Assemble Auction Packets: 4 - 6 people needed. This takes about 3 hours and is done during the school day the week of April 30th (actual date and time to be determined).

Transport Items to CD & ME (trucks and trailers needed): 10 + people needed. This takes place on Thursday, May 3rd beginning at 8:00 AM.

Set-Up Live and Silent Items at CD & ME : 6 - 8 people needed. This takes place on Thursday, May 3rd at 9:00 AM

Live Item Raffle Ticket Sellers: 8 people needed. This takes place on Friday, May 4th from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. We need adults to work with students in selling our “$100 Live Item Raffle Tickets” prior to the start of the Live Auction.

Spotters for the Live Auction: 6 energetic people needed. This takes place during the Live Auction on Friday, May4th from about 7:30 - 10:00 PM

Jewelry Station: 2-4 people needed to set up and work the jewelry station at the auction on Friday, May 4th. Jewelry set-up takes place at 4:30 PM and jewelry station needs to be “manned from approximately 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM. After the auction, the jewelry needs to be boxed up for safe keeping. This can possibly be done in 2 shifts of people.

Silent Auction: 6 people needed to assist guests with picking up their items purchased at the end of the auction. This takes place on Friday, May 4th anywhere from 9:30 PM - 11:00 PM.

Post-Auction Item Delivery: 4 - 6 people needed (trucks and trailers are helpful too) to deliver large items from Bishop McNamara on Saturday, May 5th from approximately 9:00 AM - Noon.
