The Senior class were the winners in the Lenten campaign to raise money to buy the meals we served at Fortitude - they receive the out of uniform day which is May 2   Thanks Seniors for your generous giving.

ESports - Today, Thursday April 18th, there will be an open-gaming session for any high schooler interested after school until 3:45. Stop by and play some Mario Kart, Smash Brothers, or Rocket League if you like! We will be in the ESports annex down the hall from the coffee shop (past the Celtic knot/student success center).

Career Center - Kankakee Career Center applications for the 24-25 school year are due today. Please turn in to Mrs McThenia. 

Drivers Ed – There is an informational packet in the Main Office for any student interested in taking Drivers Ed at Kankakee over the summer.  They will be here on March 12^th after school to sign up students. 

Mandatory Events – High school students there are mandatory events this afternoon and Friday.  If for some reason you need to leave early either day, you will need a Dr’s note to be excused.  Please see the Main Office with any questions you may have.

Schedule – Today we will be on a Mass Day Schedule.  Next week on Tuesday, December 12^th, sophomores through Seniors have a Late Start.  Freshman and transfer students have a mandatory normal start.  Any Freshman or transfer student not in attendance on Tuesday at 8:00am will need a Dr note to be excused.  Mrs Bess has sent emails to all transfer students.

Improv Club - The Improv Club's winter show will be held in the Blackbox Theater tonight from 7:00 pm- 8:00 pm. Admission is free and donations will be accepted at the door.

Room Change – Mrs Ikins 3^rd hour study hall will be in the balcony instead of the cafeteria today because there is mass.

Vacation and College Visits- Anyone going on a vacation or College Visit in December needs to complete a Request Form.  Please come to the Main Office for that form.  Reminder High School Students attendance on finals days is mandatory and any absence needs to be pre-approved by Mrs Bess. 

Yearbooks – Please remember to pick up your High School yearbook from last year in Mrs Akermans office.  She is available before school or at lunch.

Schedule – Next week on Tuesday, December 12^th, sophomores through Seniors have a Late Start.  Frehsman have a mandatory normal start.  Any Freshman not in attendance on Tuesday at 8:00am will need a Dr note to be excused. 

Spring Play - Come and travel to the land of Narnia. Auditions for the High School spring play The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe will be held December 18th and 19th from 4:30-6:30pm in the Blackbox theatre. You only need to attend one of these days. Scripts will be handed out before Christmas but rehearsals won’t start until Februrary. We hope to see you there! Any questions please see Ms. Knefelkamp

Window Decorating – Jr High students there will be window decorating after school today with the Art Program on Wednesday for any student who would like to participate.

Dungeons and Dragons - High school students: If you have an interest in creating an adventure of your own, and building a character for fame and glory, come join the Dungeons and Dragons Club. We will meet this coming Tuesday, August 29, from 3-5 p.m. in the Art Room. You do not need to have prior knowledge of the game; we will teach you. For more information, see Ms. Gocken.

Musical - Are you interested in theater? Please be our Guest, put your acting to the test, and try out for this year's fall musical Beauty and the Beast! Auditions are next Monday and Tuesday, August 28th- 29th in the BlackBox Theatre and they are open to all students. Visit bishopmac.com to sign up for an audition time slot.

Parking Pass – If you are still need to purchase a Parking Pass, that can be done in the Main Office or on the Facts Portal.  Parking lot checks will be done next Monday, August 28^th. 

Homecoming Shirts – High School Students you should all have an email on how to order Homecoming shirts.   Freshman your shirt has already been ordered. There is nothing you need to do.  Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors, you will need to order and pay for your shirt.  All orders need to be placed by end of day THIS Monday. 

Homecoming – The Homecoming Schedule for HS has been posted on Irish Hub.  Monday is Mass Day, Tuesday Barbie and Ken, Wednesday Western, Thursday Games Day, Friday Extreme Spirit.  Junior High your schedule will be available soon.

Schedue Changes – Any schedule changes need to be taken care of after school, please see Mrs Malm in the Main Office for any schedule issues.

8th Grade – Tomorrow 8^th Graders have their Appreciation Day.  8^th Grade only can be out of uniform. 

Finals – High School Students, please make sure you are aware of your Finals schedule.  Schedule is posted outside the Main Office or can be found on the Bishop Mac website.  Do not be late!!

Lost and Found – Last call for Lost and Found.   All items will be donated on Friday.  There are eye glasses in the Main Office, otherwise everything is in the cafeteria. 

Medicine – If you have medicine or Epi Pens in the Nurses Office, please pick up on Friday morning.  Anything not picked up will be thrown away.

Relay for Life - Relay for Life is again being held at McNamara on Saturday, June 10.  We are looking for help on Friday, June 9 and also Saturday, June 10.  There are many opportunities. See Michelle Barrie to sign up to help and have fun.

Out of Uniform – Tomorrow will be an out of uniform day that will help the Beedle Family - the family we helped last year with the Advent and Lenten campaign.  The 2 little girls have Battens Disease which is an incurable genetic disease.  Annabelle, the six-year-old, just recently went thru life threatening liver failure.  The family continues to travel to Lurie Childrens Hospital weekly for brain infusions for both girls.  The starting point for out of uniform is $2 - please be as generous as you can.  Seniors -- this is the family you met at the Sophomore retreat last year - I know you are out of uniform but please help us to help this family

Lunch – There is no more charging in the cafeteria, all charges must be paid by tomorrow.

Tech and Theatre Class - Are you wanting to be more involved in the fine arts, stage production, and theater tech? Then we encourage you to join us for the Technology & Theater Productions Class upstairs in the black box theatre today, May 10th! All 7th- 12th graders who wish to participate are welcome, especially those who want to be involved next year! The class will be held from 2:40 to 3:30, bring a pencil and notebook to jot down anything you think would be important to know.
