New Information


i-Ready Diagnostic 3: April 20 – May 1. I-Ready testing for students. Parents, please avoid scheduling vacations during these important testing days.

The Little Mermaid: Tickets for the Spring show The Little Mermaid are on sale. Tickets are sold during practice times Monday-Thursdays from 5:30-7:30pm inside the jr high entrance. All other tickets will be sold at the door! Doors open at 6pm for night of sales and show begins at 6:30.

Book Fair: Wednesday, April 22.  Book fair continues through tomorrow.

Relaxed Dress Code: Friday, May, 1. Relaxed uniform dress code will begin. Students may wear navy blue uniform shorts.

Step- Up Day: Friday, May 1. 5th Grade students will join the junior high for lunch and have the opportunity to meet our junior high staff.

First Communion: Sunday, May 3, 1:00. Our second-grade students will receive the Sacrament of First Communion may God bless them and their families on this very special day.

Teacher Appreciation Week: May 4-8. We will be celebrating our wonderful teachers!

 

Fundraising and Events

Caddyshack Golf Outing: The Caddyshack Golf Outing will take place on Friday, August 7th, at Aspen Ridge Golf Course. If you'd like to get a head start on your parent ambassador hours for the 2026-2027 school year, consider joining The Caddyshack Golf Outing committee. To get involved, contact Peggy Mayer at pmayer@bmcss.org. 

RaiseRight (formerly Scrip): Start earning tuition credit 2026-27now! By using gift cards to pay for everyday (and not-so-everyday) expenses, each participant can earn over $1,000 each year. Attention Families! Protecting God’s Children Seminars: All parent ambassadors/volunteers are required to complete a VIRTUS/Protecting God’s Children course before assisting the school.  If you are a new parent or have not completed the course, please see the information below. In order to volunteer in any capacity, i.e., classroom parties, lunch duty, parent work day etc. the Diocese requires certification. Please see the following steps for completion:
Step 1: Go to www.virtusonline.org to create an account.
Step 2: Accept and Acknowledge understanding of the Policy and Standards.
Step 3: Take the Protecting God’s Children online course through Virtus.org
Step 4: Give consent for the Name-Based Background Check through Virtus.org
Step 5: Fill out the Parent Volunteer Application
